2. Purpose of BookGallery

BookGallery is a website dedicated to the presentation and promotion of books and to the publication of articles and other editorial content through its Blog.

The website provides information about the books presented, their respective editions and, where available, links through which visitors may access external platforms where the books can be purchased.

BookGallery does not directly operate an online store, does not receive payments and does not conclude sales contracts for the books presented on its own website.

The website operator may have an economic interest in the sale of some or all of the books presented, for example as an author, publisher or rights holder, and may therefore receive royalties or other proceeds arising from their sale.

3. Links to Amazon and Other External Websites

Book covers, images, buttons or other links displayed on BookGallery may direct visitors to websites operated by third parties, including Amazon.

Clicking on a book cover, image, button or link may therefore cause the visitor to leave BookGallery and access the relevant third-party website.

Where wording such as “View on Amazon”, “Find on Amazon” or equivalent wording appears, it indicates that the relevant link directs the visitor to an external Amazon website.

Unless otherwise expressly stated, Amazon links displayed on BookGallery are not Amazon Associates affiliate links, and the website operator does not receive an affiliate commission from Amazon as a result of a visitor clicking such a link or completing a purchase through it.

This does not exclude the possibility that the website operator or other relevant rights holders may receive royalties or other proceeds arising from the sale of the books.

Any purchase is made exclusively through the relevant external platform.

BookGallery does not take part in processing the order, collecting payment or completing the transaction on the external platform.

BookGallery does not receive or process payment information submitted by visitors to the external platform in connection with a purchase.

4. Prices and Availability

Any information concerning prices, formats, availability or other commercial characteristics of books is provided for informational purposes only.

5. Author’s Personal Rating and Reviews on External Platforms

BookGallery may display a rating identified as “Author’s personal rating” or by equivalent wording next to certain books.

This rating represents solely the personal and subjective opinion of the author regarding the book presented.

The Author’s personal rating does not constitute a consumer review, an independent assessment, a score attributed by third parties or a rating supplied by Amazon, Goodreads or any other external platform.

Any graphical representation using stars, numbers or another rating scale should therefore be understood exclusively as a representation of the author’s personal assessment indicated alongside it.

BookGallery does not use the Author’s personal rating to represent or simulate the overall opinion of readers or users of external platforms.

Amazon, Goodreads and other similar services may operate their own independent review and rating systems. Such ratings do not form part of the Author’s personal rating displayed on BookGallery.

BookGallery may provide links to external platforms where user ratings and reviews are available.

To view current ratings, review counts and review content on external platforms, visitors may consult the relevant platform directly.

6. Intellectual Property and Copyright

Unless otherwise stated, original content published on BookGallery is protected by applicable copyright and intellectual property laws.

Protected original content may include, where original and eligible for protection, Blog articles, texts, book descriptions, photographs, illustrations, graphic works, maps, images, promotional materials, translations and other editorial content created for BookGallery.

However, by publishing a comment or other content through BookGallery, the user grants BookGallery and the technical service providers necessary to operate the website a non-exclusive and royalty-free permission to store, technically reproduce, display, format and make that content available to the extent necessary to operate, display, manage and moderate the relevant Blog functionality.

This permission is limited to those purposes and does not transfer ownership of the user's content to BookGallery.

The fact that a comment is initially published on the website does not mean that BookGallery endorses or agrees with its content.

Opinions expressed by users in comments are those of the respective authors.
